Cruise should have been excellent but it wasn't. the excursions on port canaveral were cancelled; we did not sop at great stirrup and we did not get compensated at all. the onboard cruise specialist was not helpful and seemed very bored at doing his job

I am not sure if my husband and I would sail again on ncl as the cruise consultant should have been much more helpful. we should have been compensated for the ship excursions being cancelled and not being able to go the private island.

the beverages were excellent. Cagney's restaurant was deplorable; my porterhouse steak had so much grizzle on it. we got the wrong vegetables and our baked potato came at the end of our dinner. the beverages at cagney's never came to our table. the restaurant was much better three years ago

they were okay but the children and passengers should have received some sort of gift in the atrium room; even it was a Frisbee or bottle of wine. nothing was given out.

we could not locate our room steward. our rooms were cleaned very well. I believe our steward had too many cabins to take care of and we were at the very last of his rooms to be cleaned.

I am disappointed with the way the cruise consultant conducted himself. I wanted to book a future cruise but he was not helpful. he could not be bothered. it is my understanding that if I put down a deposit I could have received some onboard credits. he did not even mention it.

I'm amazed by the sense of entitlement people have. I want to be compensated for my excursion (which is the operator's call) being cancelled. I want to be compensated because the captain cared about my safety and would not let me tender to GSC. Because I didn't get what I want I will never sail on NCL again. How dare my fairy tale did not play out the way I wanted it to. When you book a cruise no matter what line you agree to a contract and like most contracts they have a tendency to favor the business.

Wow. Expect compensation for missing a port?! Would you rather hang out on a rainy windy beach? Yea it sucks but it’s part of cruising. Imagine if you had a land based vacation to that cancelled port. You would just have to sit in bad weather. Expecting gifts to be given out is pretty presumptuous. For the steakhouse, send it back. Sounds like you need another vacation.

Same for us as it was for BaconandCakes. One call and additional towels were there in a jiffy. We tip our room steward on the first day and never have problem after that.

Seriously? You think that a gift should be given? And if your steak wasn't to your liking then you should have sent it back! And if they are unable to tender you to GSC there isn't much you can do. And if an NCL excursion is canceled then you will get your money refunded. Now if you booked it thru another company then more than likely nonrefundable.

There is no compensation for missed private islands and excursions being cancelled. You are entitled to your money back for the canceled excursions. Read your contract.
