Review summary

It was a great relaxing week. Unfortunately it was cool and rainy and we missed the private island. Overall it was still fantastic and away from reality for a whole week.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
It was a great experience. We were able to get in shop early.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Food was ok. We ate at the buffet mostly, which seemed to serve the same food daily. We are one night at the noodle bar which was a nice change and one night at Modernos. That was a very different experience. Wait staff walked around with skewers if different meats and you ate until you were completely full, them came dessert.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
It was a little chilly for me to be in the pool or on the outside decks except for a couple of days.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Every show we saw was phenomenal.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Room steward was very nice and did everything we asked of him. All of the other staff encountered were very cordial and friendly.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Ship was clean and maintained regularly.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Clean and comfortable for 2

Ports of call

New York, New York

5 out of 5
No excursion in New York, but was able to sit outside for the sail away.

Port Canaveral, Florida

4 out of 5
It hailed and rained like crazy! 😢

Great Stirrup Cay (Cruise Line Private Island), Bahamas Did not visit port

The swells were too high and not safe enough for us to go.

Nassau, Bahamas

5 out of 5
We didn’t do any excursions, but we did walk around town for a bit and everyone seemed to be pleasant. Some areas didn’t look that clean but we just avoided those areas. Not

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Not bad at all considering the last cruise we were on took almost 3 hours.

Thanks for sharing your cruise.

If it was the cruise that returned today 4/1/18, they got to Nassau at approximately 2 pm on the day they were supposed to go to the private island. The ship stayed overnight and left Nassau at 6 pm the next day. Their regularly scheduled departure time.

Glad you enjoyed it anyway. Did they give you a extra day at Nassau or extra sea day because of the missed island?
