Review summary

With perfect sailing weather and perfect walking weather this was a perfect vacation! We are considering sailing in 2018 on the Escape since we enjoy what NCL offers

Embarkation

5 out of 5
With my husband and I using mobility scooters, we were treated with respect and helpful service by the pier staff

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Food was great at all the venues we visited. Unfortunately couldn't get to Cagney's becauseit was booked solid the entire week ...next cruise we will be sure to make reservations before leaving home. The Wasabi bar was outstanding (paid ala carte). Having the beverage package was definitely worth it.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Since I had a broken arm I couldn't do too much but I did enjoy the tastings, bingo, shopping, seminars, etc.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
Burn the Floor was exceptional ....did not see Rock of Ages as we caught that show last year.....Cirque show was good but not so much the meal....the magician Dizzy was not the caiber of magician we expected...the international crew talent show was fun...in fact the crew magician was better than Dizzy in my opinion....Arvin & Emily are a very talented musical couple that enjoyed trenendously...! DanDan and his staff made the fun times for all!

Children's Programs

Did not travel with youngsters

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Our room steward...Jay....was very attentive to us; plenty of help throughout the ship especially at the buffet to help me with my broken arm issue; it was nice that some staff remembered us

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
H-u-g-e ship and amazed how clean it is kept on a daily basis. The staff were quick to respond to a flooding issue my husband reported about one of the public restrooms.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Since we had a handicap room, needless to say it was roomy and comfortable....the bed was super comfortable

Ship tip

Tip....review the ship's map numerous times, make dinner reservations as soon as you can

Ports of call

New York, New York Did not visit port

Royal Naval Dockyard, West End, Bermuda

No excursions but enjoyed visiting thw Dockyard and ferry to Hamilton

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
NCL provided wheelchairs to get us off the ship and after getting our luggage and going thru customs the NCL staff brought us outside to the curb for our pickup. Couldn't be happier😊
