Review summary

Very good cruise, very convenient for someone who lives in the NYC area. The ship is clean the crew is friendly for the most part. Never saw the cruise director.

Embarkation

4 out of 5
very easy arrived at the port about 10:45 was on the ship eating lunch at 11:45

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Food was very good. We had the all inclusive drink package which is a very nice bonus if you are a drinker. The dinning package was also very nice, we tried restaurants that we would not have paid for if not for the package.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
My adult children did the ropes course, they loved it.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
We did Howl at the Moon 3 nights the dueling piano bar, they were excellent! They played everything you could think of they interacted with the audience very entertaining.

Service and Staff

3 out of 5
Our cabin steward was excellent as was the bar servers at the martini bar and the servers at ocean blue. Other then that the service was rather slow or non existent.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
The ship is very clean, but very big. One design flaw id the running track runs right through the pool deck so it is very congested. People are running as people are sunning and walking buy kind of a mess

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
very clean, the right area of the ship not to high or low mid ship. The bathroom was very big it was classified as a mini suit.

Ship tip

explore the ship before it leaves port, try to know the lay out. The main dinning room gets crowed after 6 pm so be prepared to wait for a seat and the service is somewhat slow, if you have young children withyou get them something to eat first before dinner

Ports of call

New York, New York

5 out of 5
I live in the NY metro area so I like NYC. If you are not from the area it can be overwhelming. Parking is expensive. Do not take the ships tour from the ship to the airport, you can do it on your own for a whole lot less expensive and see the same things. Carry your own luggage off the ship you'll be off the ship by 9 am.

Royal Naval Dockyard, West End, Bermuda

5 out of 5
Very nice port, if you want to go to the cities take the ferries, they are quicker then cabs and only coast $4.50 if you buy the token or $5.00 if not. You can buy a two day pass for $19.00.

Disembarkation

3 out of 5
If you don't carry your luggage long lines and slow but it moves and it is orderly. The line wraps around the ship through the casino and back again.

So envious (in a good way) of you living close to a port and serving a cruise line you enjoy.
