Review summary

Overall, I did like the cruise. The quality of the NCL was there and I appreciated the quality of service and food. Bermuda was also a very nice place to visit. It was very clean and has a multitude of beautiful beaches and things to do.

My biggest complaint: There is not enough outside resources to support the passengers. There were also major issues with people holding chairs outside as early as 930. The pool was a nightmare, unless you're into overcrowding and people drinking in excess and acting crazy.

I will not cruise on the Breakaway again, or any cruise that is this large. I have cruised on the Jewel and it was excellent - everything I want in a cruise. The smaller cruise was more personal and less crowded.

We loved the cabin. It has a corner balcony, which was larger than the others we saw.

Ship tip

Having the age limit of 18 and over on deck 16 was a saving grace. Although there was not a pool, there was a refreshing waterfall. Plus it lacked the insanity that was the deck 15 pool area.

Sounds like a fight, we would get into big time, that's rude

When we do that we wait a little. But I'm sorry if someone reserves a seat and you can pretty much tell I will move the towel. Sorry

Kristicraft, the only downfall to something like that is if I put my towel there and take a quick dip in the pool. I know I didn't bring anything with me to the pool (except a towel) because I was worried about things getting stolen. But if u went for a quick dip just to cool off or even ran to grab a drink and come back to my towel on the floor and someone sitting in my chair I would be very upset.

Haha when we see towels on chairs and we want to sit. We just move the towels. The rule is..... Norwegian crew will tell you. There is no saving chairs. So if I want to sit and you placed a towel to reserve it. Be prepared to see it sitting on the floor. Unless it looks like someone is there. Stuff and all then your towel will be moved. :)

I agree. Way too big. The pool area is a nightmare. The only way it works is if you can get into the Vibe area. Much more relaxing and classy

Did you see children at the pool on the Breakaway? Thanks!
