Review summary

The food was very good, the staff were amazing.

BUT... there is only one adult pool.  During our cruise, the pool was full of children which made it difficult for the adults to take a dip in the pool.  The children also took over the hot tub.  Although a few people complaint to the staff, they did not do anything.  The children had a great pool and activities but they preferred handing around the adult pool.

Nah we think kids on a cruise is a total waste.   they usually arent having a good time because you cant get all "their stuff" from home to the boat and regardless of what is offered they get bored and want to haunt adults anyway.  We love counting the kids w Ipad parents at the dinner venues...classic.  These parents wont stand for you talking smack about their kids but the same parents dont want to be bothered by them at all.  Paradoxical

"sure blame the parents".... who else is there to blame or hold responsible? As a parent, I know it's not an easy job..... but I chose to have children and I owe it to them, myself and society to teach them manners, responsibility and respect..... some parents skipped that chapter. When I was growing up, I would be crucified if I acted the way some of these kids act enabled entitled and spoiled....sorry, this behavior is endorsed by parents who don't parent and then of course they scream when someone calls them out on it. That's my two cents...

Honestly as a parent it's like going to McDonald's and expecting to have a romantic dinner. Sure blame the parents, but honestly it happens and will continue to happen. My thoughts are just that if you don't want kids to ruin a perfectly good cruise go on one without. But opinions are like assholes we all have one. Lol

I think the theme of this thread as far as children go...... no one is against children on a cruise, what is annoying is the lack of adults being "parents" and the children are running loose. There are far more well behaved children on a cruise ship but it's the 10% that cripple pools, hot tubs, elevators, etc and I blame the parents....

How about going on an adults only cruise.

I would have gone all the way up the chain of command if they weren't chasing kids out of the adult pool and jacuzzi. I always find someone to remove the kids but honestly every time I've been on breakaway there's always a staff member stationed at the pool and chasing kids who are about to get in the adult pool. I've paid a lot of money for my ticket and I will not allow kids to ruin it.

I read all about the hot dog cart.... forgot about it..... and looked up from my Kindle and immediately became a 5 year old with excitement.... my wife was a tad embarrassed. Lol.

Esm54687...how could I forget the hotdog cart !! It was great !!! We will be cruising again September 25th & it will be our first treat on the ship (and an ice cold beer of coarse) ! 😎😀

I agree. Kids kept jumping in the adult pool while I was swimming around. Extremely annoying. Can't tell you how many times I almost trampled some little kid because they walked right out in front of me

H2O is the aft location alioop was referring to

Always go to H20 also! In the morning it is so peaceful! In the afternoon quite crowded, sea day!

and alioop, do t forget the hot dog vendor is always there!! ☺

I can't stand that either..parents don't care & a lot of the time neither does the staff !! My husband & I found ourselves sticking to the adults only aft area with a wading pool & waterfall..never any children & 2 hot tubs, bar & big screen for entertainment..we loved it
