Thanks for sharing your cruise.

I've never canceled my gratuities but if you really want to you have to write a letter to customer relations once you get home and they will refund you

i agree. i start out each cruise with a gift bag for my stewart. i always have thank you cards in my suitcase for extra tipping those that did an outstanding job. they all work long hours and so hard.

Brian148    8 years ago

exactly he probably could of put it a different way but so many people treat the workers like slaves it's sad that people are forced to tip because they can't do it on there own. I always tip the room guys a 100 and always take care of the workers and they appreciate it so much and take such better care of you

saltybutnice    8 years ago

they didnt expect that. they did tip everyone. back in the day thats what you did. you tipped the people that served you. its the cheapo asses that didnt tip that has made the cruise lines have to do it for you.

political correctness? how about common decency? the comment of one retired couple didn't hurt NCL in the least. 'if you can't afford it stay home' was meanhearted and meant to hurt.

Brian148    8 years ago

I think it's more mean expecting the poor worker's to take care of you for free. I pay gratuity and tip on top of it because it's the right thing to do

Brian148    8 years ago

can't wait to breakaway from the political correctness that is destroying us. I think what he said is right on and not mean.

mfishers    8 years ago

Just absolutely mean and inconsiderate. Worse that you'd proudly post it here.

Lets put 2015 to bed and start 2016 on a positive note. let's try to be understanding of others as we hope others are understanding of us. Peace QT.

janet qt doesnt have dentures. LOL

janet781    8 years ago

can't bite the heads off because of the dentures!

saltybutnice    8 years ago

3 stars isnt so bad. they only found fault with one thing. bite the heads off the ones that give 1 star because it isn't RC and their whole cruise was ruined because of the color of the wallpaper.

pat1fan    8 years ago

she's not down rating them, she just said she tipped on her own. A lot of people do that. then cancel the gratuities.

qtlime    8 years ago

No reason to down rate a trip... this is not the organization's fault.

pat1fan    8 years ago

I hope you got the form from the desk when you get home you fill it out send it in and they will reimburse you.

saltybutnice    8 years ago

that out and out meanness was uncalled for. they tipped in person before they realized they already did on their sail card. ok they should have been aware but weren't. that's no excuse being mean.

I like your honesty and the gratuities have been like that because people don't tip.You could remove them but I pre paid them and also gave extra they work hard. You give what you can enjoy your new year.

If you can't afford to be on vacation then stay home. Happy New Year!
