Review summary
Sailed out of NYC 11/22 thru NY Harbor past the Statue of Liberty--- a gorgeous site for sure!
Positive comments--
Nice cruise for families and great non-stop activities for everyone especially the children.
Great entertainment and friendly helpful staff. Excellent food in main dining rooms
Excellent show of Fire and Ice, Howl at the Moon and Cirque Fantasy Dinner Show--highly recommend seeing all of them.
Negative comments--no variety in food at the buffets--same every day.
Too many announcements daily by the Cruise Director.
Very little soundproofing between rooms and decks.
Uncomfortable seats in the theater--there was a space at the back making it uncomfortable
Overall nice cruise

Ship tip
The Cirque Fantasy Dinner Show was SUPERB! Highly recommend it--get in line early to get a good seat. Did not stop at Great Stirrup Cay due to bad weather conditions so that was a disappointment
Ports of call
Great Stirrup Cay (Cruise Line Private Island), Bahamas Did not visit port

Jan 3, 2016 will be my second time on the Breakaway to the S. Caribbean. Loved everything about the first time (Jan 2015) except the extremely loud noise (music, video, movies, announcements) in the Reception area. It was very difficult to converse with the crew members manning the reception area counters. I was hoping that eventually the decibel level would be lowered, but it was constant for the whole 12 days.
Has anyone else had that same complaint? Has the ship turned it down in the last year?
