Review summary

the list of positive things about the breakaway is a short one. the crew is nice , the food was better than expected, and the cabin was very nice. the rest of the cruise not so good. its way to crowded, there are only two sets of elevators so you have long walks to everything.the atrium is way to small for the way they try to use it, the pool is too small and there is no room around it.you have to reserve every show you want to see. so much for being freestyle!we have been on many ships on several lines and have never said we would not go on a ship again, until now. tendering was a disaster and disembarkation was the worst. it took hours to get off and we were ez walk off.breakaway no way!

As far as the tendering, they were just doing their job and watching out for every body's safety. I have to admit the sea was pretty choppy that day!

tendering on my cruise didn't happen due to high waves. we got to Nassau about 8 pm but had shows and dinner scheduled so we didn't get off until next day.

yes, I agree. everyone finds "their" spot instead of hanging on Lido. just struck me as funny "it was crowded.....then it wasn't". first evening/night is an adjustment period. a lot of folks running around lost and back tracking.

That was funny... But I assume less crowded means less chaotic as people learn their way around the ship. The first day will probably always be crazy since everyone wants to explore and see where things are. 🙂

Well people start learning where everything is and everything seems to run better after that first day

"by the second day it was fine" made me chuckle! did they stow some away in storage?

When we went in the getaway the ship was full to capacity... the first day it did feel crowded but by the 2nd day it was fine

Lol true! I'm thinking of doing the vibe cabana for one day too just so we can relax without being over crowded.

Anything beats work I'd say so I'm loving it already lol

Great attitude beaners! I have a feeling when I go it's gonna be one of those "it's what you make it" type of trips. I'm hoping to make the best of it and enjoy it!
