Review summary

Out of 23 cruises this was our first on Norwegian. It ranked at the bottom. I prefer more opportunities to listen to music. The shows other than Jersey Boys were a major disappointment.

Embarkation

3 out of 5
We stopped at three points to show our boarding pass and vaccination status. Not one at the three check in points asked for our Covid test results.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

We enjoyed our dining experiences.

Entertainment

First let me say that Jersey Boys was phenomenal. We were extremely disappointed that several shows that were advertised were canceled. The shows that we attended other than Jersey Boys were mediocre. Music was okay but there wasn’t a lot of genres and most of the times were during evening dinner.

Service and Staff

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
The ship was clean but the decor was plain compared to other ships we’ve cruised on.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
Cabin was relatively comfortable except the closet was inches away from one side of the bed. The sliding doors rattled so we put a folded piece of paper between the door and track at night.

Sitka, Alaska

There’s not a lot to do in Sitka.

CRUISE ENDICOTT ARM & DAWES GLACIER

It was determined it was too dangerous to continue so the ship had to turn around.

Nice very small town but not much to see or do.
