Review summary

This is our first cruise ever and it won't be our last. It was a good experience even though we had weather that disrupted our plans. The food was mostly good. I also liked that there were sit down restaurants that were not part of the specialty dining. The staff started singing outside the Garden Cafe which was delightful. Our room steward was perfect. As I just wanted to relax, I didn't avail myself of the activities onboard but will certainly do so next time. One drawback was the internet package. Although I was told (onboard) that different devices can be used one at a time, it wasn't true. And the internet was sketchy and not all links could be loaded. The line for the guest services can be quite long and you cannot combine your onshore excursion request with guest service request, so in the end you have to wait in both lines. I gave up on the next cruise or cruise next line also.

Service and Staff

My room Steward, Derek Alvin Mendoza, was so attentive, always respectful.

Ship Quality

It was a pity it rained a bit and windy, which made it difficult to be on deck much of the time. But there was plenty of areas where we could sit and chill.

Cabin / Stateroom

I was glad that we could put our big luggage under the bed and that Derek cleans the cabin twice a day. This makes the cabin so much more pleasant to be in, and less of a pigsty!!

The best excursion experience here. The staff was excellent, we saw eagles and the sea feast was fabulous! Everyone agreed that it was the best excursion experience for the entire trip.

Overall orderly but long lines again.
