Review summary

This was my 2nd time with Norwegian my first experience was really good but apparently this experience was not as pleasant due to a misbehavior by a shore excursion member and less activities, cancellations of privet island in Bahamas, food was not as good as it was in Norwegian Escape, food at the Manhattans was terrible, local was ok not as good as Oseahan, very long wait for the food to arrive. This time I was very disappointed by Norwegian, next time I will think twice to book Norwegian. Getting on to the ship we were in line for over 2 hours very slow check In and only few people were working, system was down was their excuse. Top of all this A member from Shore Excursion desk name Abijeet misbehave badly, no apologies were received. My experience was not good at all. My kids booked go car and laser tag they were canceled last minute that was the main reason to go in Bliss to experience go car but they cancelled them on us ๐Ÿ˜ก๐Ÿ˜ก๐Ÿ˜ž๐Ÿ˜ž๐Ÿ˜ž , nothing was offered for cancellations to go on a private island Strip Cay.....

Below is a snippet of the terms and conditions for Norwegian Cruise Lines. The first sentence basically informs you that the corporate lawyers for Norwegian have made sure that they are not liable for anything that might screw up your expensive vacation. These are the terms and conditions that not many folks take the time to read. Now I happen to love Norwegian, and have sailed on them 6 times, but if you miss ports, get food poisoning, are quarantined to your cabin with norovirus, or drift for days with mechanical issues you might get 10% off on your next cruise. Iโ€™m sure that the terms and conditions from Norwegian are similar throughout the industry. a) The Carrier and the Guest hereby agree there is no warranty, whether express or implied, as to the fitness, seaworthiness, or condition of the vessel or any person on board, or any food, drink, medicine, or provisions supplied on board the vessel. The Guest acknowledges that the Carrier is not an insurer of his or her safety during the course of the voyage, and the Guest agrees that the Carrier shall not be liable in any circumstances for any incident or injury arising from events occurring outside of the Guest areas of the vessel or outside of the vessel itself, including but not limited to those events occurring ashore (including shore excursions), on tenders not owned or operated by the Carrier, on or resulting from equipment not a part of the vessel, or upon docks and/or piers, or involving persons employed on board the vessel acting outside the course and scope of employment.

We were on the cruise a week before you and you hit the nail on the head everything you experienced we also had the same problems, have been on Norwegian 12 times and this was the worst experience so far. So for my next trip I will be looking at Royal Caribbean. Thanks for listening!

Ports are never guaranteed. They can be canceled for a variety of reasons. No money is normally given unless you were charged port fees, but a private island doesn't have those. Look at the contract you sign, itineraries can be changed. Not sure what shote excursion person did.
