Became one of my favorite cruises and ships, would definity not mind to be back on the Bliss.
Embarkation
1 out of 5
Boarding from Pier 92 (NYC) was horrible. nearly 3 hours of broken tech not allowing people to board for quite some time. We departed nearly 3 hours late.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
NCL has some of the best food at sea. Service at the MDRs is good but the Savor/Taste MDRs have longer wait lines than The Manhattan Room. Garden Cafe Buffet was perfect.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
Good variety of activities. There was racing, laser tag, 2 water slides, kiddie pool, and main pool on the upper decks. The Bliss Speedway & Lasertag both have an up charge.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
There were 2 broadway productions that are included in cruise fare, but you should make a reservation if you dont want to be in a standby line. There was also Happy Hour Prohibition but with an upcharge. Live music available at the pool deck and atrium. Game shows, bingo, & comedy are also available on Bliss.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
We had a birthday party in the MDR and waiters did everything they could for us. Bar staff and buffet staff were wonderful, very quick service. Room steward did a great job for us and kept our room nice and clean.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
The ship was very easy to navigate despite the size. Some spaces couldve been more decorated but overall beautiful ship.
Cabin / Stateroom
4 out of 5
Cabin was cozy, normal size you would expect for an inside. The last night of the cruise the room started squeaking every time the ship rocked, which got annoying quickly.
Ship tip
Enjoy your cruise and interact with the wonderful staff onboard! You wont regret it.
Going for 1st time on Bliss 3/29/20 out of NYC. I always go out of NYC so I'm used to the fluster cluck that is NYC. I did get a priority pass this time hoping for a more pleasant embarkation with my DIL & 2 grands. It's their first cruise so I want it to be a pleasant experience if possible. I love to cruise!!!
