Although this is a beautiful ship, and my favorite place was the observation lounge, I can honestly say I enjoyed the Escape better. They offered more options for complementary dining, and we thoroughly enjoyed the dueling pianos on the Escape and the Epic. Also, I don’t think that the bartenders were as attentive as they are on the other Norwegian ships I have been on.

Embarkation was delayed as they had to do a last-minute drill so we had to wait an extra hour to hour and a half to get on the boat.

What is disappointed they had more restaurants that you had to pay to eat out then restaurants that were complementary. Also the ship had one less complementary restaurant than the escape in the epic which was disappointing as well.

In two separate bars, the atrium and the observation bar the bartender’s ignored certain passengers to go with passengers that were frequent visitors to the bar.

Beautiful ship, and love the observation lounge area. The views from there were absolutely wonderful.
Cabin / Stateroom

This was not my cabin number, however the cabins were well appointed. The room steward did forget to replace towels in the room one day and I had to call housekeeping, plus our shower door was broken and we could not close the shower door but they did fix it rather quickly.
The pirate boat adventure was so much fun. We received breakfast, enjoyed a great pirate show, snorkeling, beach breaks, adult beverages, lunch of lobster and steak, and another show. Would definitely do this again.
Absolutely enjoyed the salsa and salsa excursion. Learning to make six different salsas and to learn to salsa dance, plus our tour guide was wonderful.
What comp restaurant was missing? The Escape and Epic
Doesn't have food in observation deck. They have 3 dining rooms, the buffet and the 24 hour locals.
