Review summary

I always cruise Royal Caribbean. I decided to try this since it was just my son and I and because of the race track. I can say I will never go on another Norwegian Cruise again. The overall cruise staff was terrible. The lines were terrible. Anything good the ship charged extra for. The only real good thing about this cruise is that the food was excellent. That was about it.

The best thing about this cruise was the food. It was excellent.

Onboard Activities

Laser tag and the race track were great. That was about it. Gym too small. Only one kiddy pool which had 20 kids in life jackets so my 13 year old son didn’t want to go in but that was the only pool he could go in. Kind of ridiculous that size of ship only has one main pool and it’s an adult pool only along with another adult only pool elsewhere. The slide was closed more than it was open.

My room steward was good but everyone else seemed rude and as if they didn’t want to be there. I never get that on Royal Caribbean.

We were on the ship the same dates and our girls ages 10 and 13 loved it. There are many things to do for kids of all ages.

Never have been on a NCL cruise what the staff was anything less than exemplary. And not just NCL. Every cruise line I've taken, I've been amazed at the excellence of the staff.
