Review summary

Enjoyed my cruise on the Bliss. Would recommend it. The Vibe Beach Club was well worth the extra money. Eat in the smaller dining rooms if you are a couple or with a small group.

Embarkation

Line was not long to embark, however, the check in staff took a long time to get us our cruise cards

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
When eating in the main dining room, we opted for the smaller dining room called Savor instead of the huge main dining room. It was smaller and quieter and less chaotic. It was a pretty room and had good service. The food selesction at breakfast wa stood. Lunch menu didn’t change. Dinner options were varied and good. Food quality was generally good. Very accommodating for dietary issues.

Onboard Activities

Did not use these

Entertainment

4 out of 5
Jersey Boys was excellent. Havanah Nights was not polished. Many other entertainment options all over ship. Beetles cover band and band called Familiar Strangers were very good. Comedy Show was not great . Very offensive comedy material. Jim Badger was pretty funny. Many entertainment venues to choose from.

Service and Staff

Extremely friendly staff and accommodating to dietary issues. Everyone knew my name in the dining rooms and restaurants and knew my dietary needs.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Beautiful ship. The Observation Lounge in particular was beautifully decorated and had windows all around and nice food throughout the day. We had a mini suite that was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was large with double sinks. Ship was very clean and well laid out. Many places to congregate. The main pool area though, was disappointing. There were no cushions on thenloungers or sun beds or a solarium like on Celebrity Reglection. We paid $400 extra to stay in the private Vibe beach club, which had personalized service, cushioned loungers, umbrellas, cabanas and sun beds. Well worth the extra money but there are only 40 spots available so you need to go straight to the Vibe sign up desk as soon as you embark to get a spot.

Cabin / Stateroom

Mini suite was very spacious and comfortable. The bed was particularly comfortable. The bathroom was large with double sinks. Highly recommend the mini suite.

Ship tip

Make all dining and show reservations well in advance. If you want the Vibe beach club, go immediately to the Vibe reservation desk at customer services as soon as you embark. There is limited space. Also make comedy show reservation when you embark. The mini suite is highly recommend also. Very spacious and comfortable. Also eat at the two smaller dining rooms, Taste or Savor instead of the Manhattan Room which is massive, unless you are with a large group. Le Bistro Restaurant was excellent.

What time did you board. Just wondering how early to get vibe. Hoping to get on board in the beginning. Was the 400.per person and how long was the cruise?
