Worst cruise I've ever been on, to be honest. While I love the cruising experience, NCL truly fell short on this one. There was issue after issue and nobody seemed to know what they were doing to fix even the simplest things.

Ship experiences
Food and Dining
3 out of 5
Very difficult to get reservations for the time and size party we needed and when we did finally get reservations, we found that the "Specialty" dining was not particularly special after all.
Onboard Activities
2 out of 5
Not only must you pay to do the go-karts and laser tag, you also have to have reservations, which was never easy to obtain. Even if one has a reservation, there was always a 45 minute to 2 hour wait to finally get a chance to do the activities. Very poor planning & organization by the staff.
Entertainment
3 out of 5
Some talented entertainers but the themes of the shows were not particularly appealing - especially when it cost around $30 per person to go see one of the shows.
Children's Programs
2 out of 5
Buying the video game package for the kids was expensive and then they were linked (unlimitedly) to my credit card on file. The crew insisted there was no way for me to merely limit their ability to spend - which is ridiculous since even the less expensive/less fancy cruise lines have the ability to limit spending amounts per person. I've never had an issue like this on any other cruise line....and I've sailed more than 20 times, total, and on every major cruise line. This was an absurd situation.
Service and Staff
1 out of 5
Room steward left a toilet scrub brush in our toilet, which I had to fish out. The waiters were very disorganized for the most part. The bartenders in some areas IGNORED my kids when they tried to get a soda, which was absolutely maddening.
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
Common areas were very well maintained.

Ship tip
Don't go on this ship - it's too big, the crew is disorganized and they don't have their act together. Spend your money on a different cruise line.
We got an excursion to go to Magen's Beach. It was supposed to be 4 hours. It ended up being around 2.5 hours since there was no site-seeing on the way to the beach: our driver was on a mission to just drop us off, let us swim for 2 hours, then speed our way back to the boat. That proved to be very expensive "taxi" for the excursion and we could have spent $50 total to have done the same thing, instead of paying more than 3 times that amount.
Specialty dinning you book on line in advance did you research your curise am just asking . You can put a limit on the kids card you can always put cash on each one on the card to of the kids sorry it didnt work out the cruise
Had to "fish out" the toilet brush? I knew right away where this was going without reading any further. I always ask for the normal depth toilets when I book a cruise to avoid that very situation.
