Review summary
first impression of the ship was wow ,then as we went to the lido for lunch and looked around it was inundated with the elderly!!! very disapponting to be on a cruise with people that are in wheel chairs ,using walkers or worse yet scooters!!! no steel drums,no american food, and no night life. it was awful going to a bar and finding old men sleeping and snoring with thier mouths open in a bar!!! more like a nursing home on the water not a cruise for fun!! then trying to get a lounge at the pool was a joke too.once again the elderly taking up chairs and sleeping by the pool . my husband and i have been on 4 previous cruises and 1 with celebrity and the other with royal carribean,NEVER NEVER AGAIN will we stray from royal!!! Excursions were awesome, and the cool wet towel to welcome us back to the ship after the hot day off the ship was a very nice touch.as well as the water or lemonade. th crew were wonderful on the noordam couldnt ask for better staff.just better food on the lido/buffet. crew always smilng and happy. which that made our trip bearable.Ship experiences
