I really enjoyed this cruise and I'm already highly recommending this to my friends and family. Looking forward to my next trip.

The food in the dining rooms were very delicious. They would go out of their way to make sure you were pleased and that you had plenty. The buffets were organized in stations and each station had different foods. It gave us a variety of foods to select.
Onboard Activities

Activities on the ship were very well planned. We were extremely pleased with the entertainment host, Jose. He was absolutely amazing, pleasant, funny and kept us on our toes. We enjoyed line dancing, Music Trivia, Game Night, Bingo, Water coloring, Dance to the hits, and the variety of entertainment shows. We also had a GREAT time on "Orange Day". It was really nice to see how many people on the ship joined.

The ships stage shows were very nice. We enjoyed the comedy by Flip Shultz, Magic by Antwan Towner and the tribute to the Beatles by Jesse Kazemek. We also enjoyed "Class Act" (Diva, Las Vegas), a musical called "ALL THAT" and the variety of music playing (B.B. Kings All-Star, Rolling Stones & Billboard) in different areas of the ship.

Service and Staff

Our room stewards, Deni & Achmad were amazing. We enjoyed the little towel animals we would find on our beds and the service was great. They went over and beyond the service and always with a smile. Our waiters were Ryan and Dika. These two men were absolutely exceptional. They remembered what we liked and what we didn't like. They had my bottle of wine really every time we arrived. I highly recommend these two men to anyone going on a cruise. They were wonderful!!! I can't express how wonderful they were. As for customer service we had a little problem. We wanted to sign up for the 5 pm dinner and to get the liquor package. We were instructed to go to two different areas for this. When we couldn't get the help we wanted we returned to customer service. This time Marta helped us with both items. She was extremely helpful and resolved our items within minutes. Don't know why we got the run around the first time.
Ship Quality

All of the areas around the ship were clean and well maintained. I loved that the bathroom had hand towels and a garbage right near the doors so they could be used to open the doors.
Cabin / Stateroom

I was very pleased with the size, comfort and cleanliness of our cabin. I really enjoyed the balcony and since my sisters also went on this trip we were excited to have the divider on the balcony removed. We were able to spent time together on the balcony. Don't think they enjoyed me waking them up early in the mornings though.

Take advantage of the activities set up every day. Those activities will make your day enjoyable.
Glad you enjoyed your cruise. The Nieuw Statendam is one of my favorite ships. I hope you dined at Tamarind one of their specialty restaurants. It was the best food I have ever had had on my 30+ cruises.
