Review summary

Generally I was disappointed with this cruise. I been on many cruises and the service on the cruises should be the number one priority besides safety of course. Guest services really surprised me with the lack of empathy I got at the desk. The need more supervision on the floor at peak times in all areas.

It was hot or miss on service. Some were really good. At the buffet the basic service like getting drinks was lacking in a lot of sections. We found a few that we liked but had to look for them in different sections. The guest services was horrible and not helpful. I had to give feedback to get some one to finally help. Our stateroom guy was excellent. The chefs were great at every level.

Sorry you were disappointed. We are on her now doing a TransAtlantic to Spain. The service has been outstanding. The entertainment was great last night. We do not use the buffet so can’t speak to that, Easter Brunch at the Pinnacle was word class today… dinner at Rudi’s, top notch! We are enjoying every minute. We are not big on complaining so we enjoy every cruise on HAL. We are approaching 5Star Mariners. Gotta get back to my book and cabana it’s 75 degrees! 🐰😀

Appreciate your comments; so unfortunate you did not have the experience you expected - that ship and the crew are generally among the best on HAL. Although there are are cruise lines that may be better suited to children.

Sounds like Holland is not for this person. Covid and the debt has made daytime activities much less than pre Covid.
