Review summary

I would have rated this cruise as average or slightly above if Holland had not totally messed up the itinerary. As it turned out, we only had one port (Curacao) to enjoy a beach or excursion.

The cruise line made a last-minute change and took us to Aruba instead. We arrived at Aruba at 5:00pm. No excursions were offered because of the late arrival time. This was nearly a wasted port.

Willemstad, Curacao

Probably rated this higher than I would because we finally had time to spend on land. Interesting architecture. Our excursion took us to Hato Caves which were OK, followed by a trip to Kokomo Beach. Beach was very rocky and snorkling was not impressive.

And of course they do not say WHY they had port changes/cancellations. Probably weather and safety concerns, but all too many folks seem to want to ignore safety rules……until they get hurt and then it is sue time.
