Review summary

It was a very relaxing two weeks of cruising bliss. The crew was very friendly, the food was great and the ship was well maintained.

The food and service in the Main Dining room and Lido was excellent. The Burgers and fries from the Divein are totally awesome, the best anywhere, land or sea! The Pinnacle grill was a bit lacking on this ship, with the service poor and the food not exceptional like on other HAL ships.

The One Step Dance shows were quite good but still not as good as the HAL singers and dancers that we had grown accustomed to. The magicians and comedians were all good too.

Our room steward Aris did a excellent job cleaning and maintaining our room. Our main dining room waiter Bambang was excellent too.

Ship Quality

The ship was well maintained and clean. We can really see the difference between HAL ships and other cruise lines ships when we are in port with other ships. The other cruise line ships looked very run down and dirty compared to our ship.

Cabin / Stateroom

It was a balcony cabin and it was roomy and comfortable with plenty of closet space.
