Review summary

Embarking and disembarking was very smooth and organized. We went early about 1030 and explored the ship early. I think we avoided some of the crowd that way

I can't say enough about how excellent ALL of the crew were. Holland Americas service staff were incredible.

Nice size stateroom. King size room you could walk around easily. 3 closets, 2 drawers under the end of the bed, 2 drawers in each side side table, love seat and a desk. Nice size shower and plenty of room and storage in the bathroom

Ship tip

Find the specialty coffee bar in the crowsnest early. Deck 11 forward. Later in the crews the word gets out and the wait is longer

Really liked our whale watching tour in Juno. "Alaska Galore Tours" was great. The driver was quiet the talker but funny at times. We went with the boat that only has room for 16 guests. Great experience. Saw plenty of bald eagles, sea lions, humpback whales and a group of orcas. I know not all trips will be that lucky but the crew knew where to go and took their time and got us in the right place at the right time
