Not great service. Too crowded. Excursion at cruise are expensie and offers best price gurantee but when i claimed the prize difference of $20 for Katchikan Float plain tour they said we do not honur third party since there is no gurantee of their time.

No Good. Excursion office did not give the lower price back 110% when we found cheap rate for KAtchikan Float plane rate by $20 at TripAdvisor.com Never use cruise Excursion office . I prefer the trip advisor, They have better rate.

For peace of mind, it is best to deal with the cruise line excursion desk for your off-ship activities. That way you won't miss the boat. Delayed many hours on a cruise line excursion last year due to road conditions and closed highway. Our ship was waiting once we got through the chaos. Worth the price.

We booked private excursion because of cost in NZ, when we arrived for excursion we were told we would have to wait as guests off boat had priority needless to say didn't see very much as we ran out of time! Cheap is not always the best, and you could be waving boat goodbye if late due to unforseen circumstances

Yes you're right but the ones that book with the ship get preference when disembarking at ports.
