Food was excellent no matter where you ate! The salads in the Lido were handcrafted to your liking and delicious! Great variety and changing menu on the Lido also! Enjoyed the Coffee bar upstairs in the Explorer's Lounge and Afternoon Tea!
Onboard Activities

We had an extra day at sea, but they did a nice job of adding in extra activities. We enjoyed some of the historical talks, computer classes, walks on the promenade deck, sunning on the deck at the front of the ship, movies you could watch in your room or in the theatre, fabulous evening entertainment. There was not time to be involved in everything that we were interested in!

Fabulous music in the bars and the B.B. King. Enjoyed the two pianos every night. The stage shows were excellent and we really enjoyed both the comic, Mike Siegel, and Trish Kelly absolutely blew us away...so funny and talented!!

Are you kidding me....there was a tub in our bathroom! Never had that on a cruise before! The room and the deck were very spacious, very comfortable, and very quiet!
Ship tip
Men...no shorts in the dining room in the evening! Bring at least one pair of slacks!
They are still recovering from the hurricane, but the tour was good. Gave an idea of the size of the island and informative information from our driver. There is not a lot to see, but the island is very beautiful-full of roosters, donkeys, sand and sea! There only income is from tourism and so the hurricane damage has been hard on them. Without power for two months!
Hot! I would recommend renting a two person cabana so that you have a way of getting out of the sun. They have done a beautiful job of creating a beautiful space to enjoy the beach. Had a great time standing in the ocean with fish swimming all around us. The lunch provided by the ship was very good.
We've done 10 river cruises on 5 different lines and have 4 more planned!😁 Love them all for different reasons. Should probably PM if you'd like to talk details. 🍷
Awesome! We can’t seem to breakaway from the ocean cruises, but we’d like to take a river cruise someday. Do you have a preferred cruise line for river cruises? 🍸
LOL! And I’m glad you caught my spelling error. One too many vodka martinis this evening counting down my last 5 days until I leave on the Koningsdam this Sunday! But I’ll soon be having a Lychee martini at the Silk Den on the Koningsdam! 😂😂🍸🍸
Enjoy @gusgusmom! If you’re looking for a great meal (actually all the meals are great), But I highly recommend an evening at the Tamarind. It’s a $29 change per person, but it is an amazing meal and well worth the extra charge. It’s also nice to make reservations early so you can enjoy the sunset. It is a beautiful panoramic view. And the liche martini is wonderful! 🍸
