Review summary

This cruise was a bucket list item for us and did not disappoint.

Embarkation

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
The reason for the 3 star rating was because when sailing the outdoor temperature was in the low 60's and very windy. Being out on deck was chilly at best. This rating is not meant to be a reflection on the ship.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
I was not impressed with the comedian or magician. Raneil Thompson in the Schooner Bar is excellent. He plays piano & sings as well as getting the audience involved. Highly recommend taking in his shows.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
We had very good service from the dining room staff at table118. Our cabin #8242 was always clean and neat. Gie waited on us most of the time at the Schooner Bar. She was very nice and friendly. She always got our order right and continually checked to see if we wanted another drink. She deserves a high rating for her work ethic.

Ship Quality

This was or second time on the Navigator OTS in our 46 years of sailing with Royal. The common areas were always clean and well maintained.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Our cabin #8242 was always clean and neat. The bed was comfortable, there was plenty of towels and the cabin size adequate.

We did the "Lands End Boat Trip & Scenic Stop" tour. This was an enjoyable catamaran cruise and a stop at a restaurant for pictures and a refreshment.

Mazatlan, Mexico

We did the "Shopping & Beach Escape w/Lunch" tour. Shopping was a stop at a jewelry shop if that's your thing. Then on to a resort hotel for leisure time by the pool or the beach. They also had an all you can eat buffet and 2 drinks included.

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

We did the "Local Flavors & Traditions at Private Mountain Villa". We started our by having a tequila talk and tasting. Then we when to a large patio where we made our own lunch from scratch. we made salsa, & guacamole while sipping margaritas. We were then given the rest of the ingredients to make enchiladas for our lunch.

Disembarkation

This process went as usual. It was crowded but moved pretty well.
