Review summary

Overall, had an amazing cruise vacation on the Navigator of the Seas. Quite a cruise with a balance of excellent food and top-notched activities and entertainment. We highly recommend Royal Caribbean over Carnival cruise lines.

Embarkation

It was efficient and quick. Everyone was friendly and helpful.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Main dining room food quality and staff services were excellent. We had Tirtayana and Anil as waiter and assistant waiter, they went above and beyond in service, attitude, and professionalism. They made us feel welcome every night and remembered our favorite drinks. They were warm, genuine, attentive, funny, and made our experience every night like we were the only guest on ship.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
We enjoyed the blast, double rider water slides, flowrider, dance and exercise classes with Diego and Asxy, silent disco, watched every night's show, laser tag, ice-skating, rock-climbing, karaoke finals, and seminars. They had a variety of activities for our whole family and it kept us entertained, but yet we had relaxing times in the solarium's hot tub and lounge area.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Enjoyed the headliners, cruise shows and musicians. They were entertaining for the whole family and were glamorous and the sets and costumes were fabulous. Love the unicycle act/comedy and Showgirls!

Service and Staff

They made us feel welcomed every night and remembered our favorite drinks. They were warm, genuine, attentive, funny, and made our experience every night like we were the only guests on ship. Edwin from the front guest services was excellent and patience with our needs. Francisco from front guest services was accommodating with our next door statement issue.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Overall ship's design was spacious and we never felt crowded with over 3800 guests. Some areas of the carpet on deck 6 on way to stateroom was stained.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Comfortable and clean rooms. Love the animal towels! Missed the mints on the bed from previous years.

Ship tip

Schedule your activities and save it on calendar in the RC app, Get internet for at least one person in the party.

Ports of call

Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

5 out of 5
Also love visiting Los Arches and Lovers' beach. Wish port of call time was longer.

Mazatlan, Mexico

5 out of 5
Beaches and city area visits were cultural and worth while to see. It's a big city, so take the Pulmonia (air taxi) to get around. Must go to the local beach front restaurants near the Hacienda Hotel. Seafood dishes were fresh and delicious. Safe city and lots to do. Beaches and water were clean. Great port to go shopping and they have better prices. Really wish this port of call was longer, so we can experience more areas and some night life.

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

5 out of 5
Love this city. It's a big city, so we took the taxi and walked all around. Plan your trip of where you want to go and see. The beach water was a bit foamy and polluted, so we stayed out of the water.

Disembarkation

Iris was really helpful and friendly. She also was attending the Flowrider and we got to know her. She is professional, gave excellent guest satisfaction, and made our disembarkation easy and quick.
