Review summary

Royal Caribbean company is not taking care of their clients at all. First after the trip we were charged extra gratitudes that we weren’t informed!!! Second, I was reading through App about next trip promotion and some how I have been charged $200 for the next trip that I didn’t agree! Called customer service twice for more then two hours on the phone, didn’t help me at all. Being said that I have to contact to my travel agency. Question why??? I have charge on my credit card through Royal Caribbean and my back gave me their number, not my agency. And it’s not refundable!!! What kind of service is that??? Just got robbed by RC!!! First time cruise and wasn’t pleasant at all!!! Never will go again! Not recommend it at all! Be aware!

Well if you want to get a refund on your cruise contact your credit card company and dispute the charges. And as far as extra gratuities being charged you should have been keeping track of them on a daily basis and especially the night of your final night of your cruise. When they deliver you your charges that you haven't heard on the cruise ship. That is when you take a look at the charges and go down to guest services and make a dispute. But as far as the next Cruise deposit charge that you have received that is non-refundable just simply dispute the charges with Royal Caribbean for that matter. But I would say the extra gratuity charges may have been for your children that weren't encountered or paid prior to being on the ship. Or they were the gratuity charges that are automatically assigned in charged to every person that boards the ship either you have the option of prepaying them in advance, or waiting in encountering Daily charges to show up every night of your cruise.

Sounds like cruising is probably not for you. It’s always important to read through the requirements of what is and is not included in the basic cruise fare, including gratuities. It sounds like you probably booked a cruise through the app and were charged a $200 deposit.
