Review summary

Overall we had an excellent time. Royal Caribbean made the difference by changing our course to go to Freeport and aide with the locals there to take them to Nassau. Our group consisted of 26 people and we were all willing to help with food and anything necessary to help. It was a good feeling to be a part of this humanitarian effort. So we Thank you!

The service was great. The food was good. The drink packages are too expensive. For people that do not drink as much to warrant obtaining 2 packages; it was difficult obtaining drinks.

Boleros Lounge

This venue had latin music - which we love - however there was no space to dance. It was in the middle of the lobby where people were walking all over the place going to other places. It was not enjoyable.

Main Dining Room

The staff in the main dining room were patient and accommodating. Ben, Angel, Aristotle, Merina (not sure of the spelling) - were all amazing, friendly, with excellent customer service. Thank you!

Onboard Activities

The slides were great but the lines were horrendous and the wait was hot. There weren't a lot of options in terms of pools. The gym was awesome.

Swimming Pools

There was only the main 11th floor section with a pool that accommodating wading and swimming - the pools were too small. There should be another section with a pool.

Casino Royale

It was a good casino - the only downfall was that it allowed smoking.

Art and Photo Gallery

The photos are very expensive and the quality was not that great. Additionally, some of the photographers were not accommodating and were rude at times.

Entertainment

Not all shows were great. The shows at the Promenade are not very comfortable or spacious. Cause a few uncomfortable moments with people wanting to pass while we were trying to enjoy the dances and sing along with the show.

Service and Staff

Ben - Head Waiter, Aristotle, Angel, and a few others were excellent. On point with taking care of our needs and enjoying us as we had fun with them.

We had a Junior Suite #9344 and it was perfect. I suffer from slight claustrophobia and the room was perfect - the size was perfect and Norma was great!

Ship tip

Take your time to leave on the last day - the elevators get somewhat busy and the people get somewhat irate b/c they want to leave. Make sure you settle all outstanding Guest Service issue the day before.

some folks were somewhat irate on how to advise us where to go. They were borderline rude. We come back from a very enjoyable cruise and they ruin the moment by not smiling nor being welcoming.

Overall the cruise was incredible. Royal Caribbean Cruises are always delightful. The ship was amazing. Our cabin was perfect. The customer service was impeccable. Thank you!
