Review summary

NAVIGATOR was the smallest ship that we’ve sailed so far. I normally do oasis class. But the ship was great. Newly amplified and clean as a whistle. I will sail on the ship again with no problem. All the employees on the ship are polite and courteous and willing to help. Food everywhere we ate was fresh and tasteful. The ship was never over crowded and we really didn’t stay up late for the parties so I can’t speak for that. It was a quiet ship also. we sailed on Harmony a few months before and I could hear the engine all night long. But this ship cut through water like butter. I could hardly sense it moving or hear it making any type of noise. We had a great room with a great view. I will definitely sell in the ship again

Very smooth. Royal Caribbean employees everywhere. Porter took our bags as soon as we stepped out of the van. Great looking terminal. There must have been a blue shirt every 10 feet. Impressive.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Went to Hooked for dinner. Let me just say this: DO NOT GO THERE UNLESS YOU’RE HUNGRY. The starter salad is massive. Then comes the constant flow of muffins. Which were great, by the way. Then come dinner. Warning: your sides are enough to share. Food was good. Lots of it. The lobster was a little tough. But I’m not a big fan of the stuff anyway. The fish sandwich requires a bib. Lol . It’s massive as well. The Windjammer was very good. Food was greasy and everything was clean and neat. We always hit Windjammer early, before the mob shows up. At that point it’s every man for himself. They had a different country featured everyday. Didn’t do main dining or anymore specialty restaurants.

Chop's Grille

Chops is always a winner. Grilled Branzino is a must have! Everything is good.

We originally booked an ocean view balcony room. Got an email asking if we wanted to upgrade (for a fee) to a suite. You have to bid for the upgrade and they let your know within 24 hours if you got it. Well, we got it. Upgraded to a one bedroom Grand Suite. Very impressive. Plenty of room and storage. Large balcony and large bathroom.

Disembarkation

Quick. Quick. Quick. No need for passports at customs. They have facial recognition. It was a bit scary to think that the government can now pick me out of a crowd anywhere. Lol

How much extra did you have to bid to get an upgrade?

Navigator is a great ship with a lot of great features like an ice skating rink, promenade etc. etc. Have been on it twice in the past and now that it is amped up should be even better. I would definitely go on it again. 133 days until our Serenade of the Seas cruise.

We went on Navigator, before the amplified, while it was in Texas and we loved loved loved it!!! I really want to go back to see the amplified version! Glad you enjoyed it! Cruise on!

Glad you enjoyed it. The Navigator is the largest ship we have been on and don’t want anything any larger. It has more than we would ever want to do onboard.
