Review summary

OK cruise, but too many children involved in activities billed for adults. Childrens curfew should be before 1am. The only place where children were not allowed, and enforced was the disco. Not fair to those of us without kids to have them around in adults only areas and activities.

My suggestion is either book a cruise line like Celebrity which is not geared up to kids or don’t take a cruise during school holidays. I am a responsible parent but I am limited to when I can holiday dues to schools holidays. I can only assume the people on here don’t holiday with children so could go anytime so maybe look at cruising outside of the school holidays.

Try Viking Ocean if you can. No children under 18 allowed! 🤗

Some parents are so bad, if they neglect their kids on holiday can you imagine how they treat them the rest of the year. I hope that your cruise was not spoilt because of this

We always book out with school holidays for that reason

Rev is usually very good about the adult spaces being just adults

Just got back from a two week Mediterranean cruise and had issues with teenagers running into/ our of the elevators, up and down the stairs and stomping up and down the hallways (unsupervised until the wee hours of the morning. Told there was a 1:00 am curfew, but it wasn’t being enforced whatsoever. Parents seemed quite oblivious. After having paid for a two week Mediterranean cruise, this was annoying to the max. I even had a soccer ball kicked into the leg that I had just had a knee replaced on, and not an apology for hitting me. Not up to cruise lines to control this, up to lazy parents who need to step up. 😕

I agree too. This seems to be the norm. I think 1am is too late. We were in RC Allure of the Seas. Attended a 9 pm show and there was a family with a baby that cried the entire time. It was annoying

Was on a Carnival cruise kids running up n down yelling at 2 am!! Wondered into bars etc Captain was called and the parents. This Mom started yelling saying it was her 13 & 16 yr olds vaca also and what could possibly happen??? Those girls were found with crew members 21 yrs old!!! Idiot parents!! Captain put a curfew on the whole family!! 11 pm!! They only had 2 days left but omg. Anything could have happened.

Yep I agree. The parents have no consideration for anyone else. When we went on the Independence last May the dance floor in the Pyramid Lounge was absolutely full of children just running around when there were drinks staff trying to walk with trays full of drinks. The kids have their own spaces to go to - they shouldn’t be allowed to gatecrash adult areas.
