Review summary

This was our first cruise greater than 7 days. We really enjoyed the length, the destinations in the Southern Caribbean, and the ship. It was a great size for this trip.

Embarkation

4 out of 5
Crowded, but the line moved along.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Stuck mostly to the MDR. The food was excellent and the variety was good. The Galley tour and lunch was outstanding - I highly recommend it.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Pools and hot tubs were good. Used the putt-putt course; a fair challenge. The hot tub and sauna in the fitness center were never crowded. Unfortunately, the adult-only area was always packed, so we rarely settled in that location. Nightly entertainment was terrific and varied.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
A stage show was available every night including a wide variety of entertainment: singers and dancers juggler hypnoist comedian

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Everywhere we turned, the service was great. The section head waiter stopped at our table each night to check on our staisfaction and discuss the following day. Our room steward changed out our last to depart luggage numbers with early numbers when we mentioned our need to catch an early flight. (Disappointed that the ship staff didn't figure this out after requesting feedback.)

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Ship was clean. The promenade through the center of deck 5 is innovative and great fun for impromptu shows and a parade.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
This was an inside promenade in the middle of the promenade area - great view for people watching and the impromtu shows.

Ports of call

Miami, Florida

3 out of 5
Did no activities in this port.

Labadee (Cruise Line Private Island)

5 out of 5
Great beach. The zipline was a real adrenaline rush!

Willemstad, Curacao

5 out of 5
Did the cave tour and the city walking tour. This was interesting and left plenty of time to see the sights of Willemstad. It is a very interesting and walkable port. Don't miss the floating bridge and the floating market.

Kralendijk, Bonaire

5 out of 5
We went to see the salt flats and the flamingos. This was not a disappointment and included an hour at Sonomo Beach. Good port call.

Oranjestad, Aruba

3 out of 5
Set out to see the lighthouse and Baby Beach. These were nice, but the island is very crowded. The other ports were more enjoyable.

Disembarkation

3 out of 5
Seemed very confused with less than great communication.
