Review summary

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

Thanks Travelgirl27, for a reasoned, calm confirmation that this ship has problems for those seeking a quality cruise. It is not unreasonable to expect good food and a clean ship.

The MDR was excellent, way better than some ships we have been on. Service was great. A deep clean needs to be done on the carpet, but nothing life threatening. Loved it.

This ship has a lot of room for improvement in all areas, so he is not wrong. I was just on the 3/3 sailing. We had a good time because we were together and made the best of it, but it was comparable to eating at the Golden Corral. Each to their own...

The buffets on every ship I have been on has closed around the time you stated so that they can set up for evening meals. People like you that make comments and don't know what you are talking about are detrimental to writing an honest review. There has always been an ice rink on this ship and you could have gotten the room service order cards from any cabin attendant working the hall. They are on the cleaning carts as well, you could have picked them up yourself!
