Review summary

With 4 days at sea I knew I needed good on-board activities and RC/Navigator if the Seas has them--Flowrider, rock climbing, ice skating and shows plus the usual poolside stuff. I missed the caliber of spa I've found on Princess where it really is anadult retreat, but services were acceptable. Ask for Glenn as server in Izumi--exceptionally attentive. It often seemed that there were not enough restrooms, tables and chairs st the Windjammer buffet, or lounge chairs poolside. Like capacity but not equipment was increased in a recent renovation? But I learned to go early, find the out of the way restroom, take the elevator up to go down, etc. and overall, it was a very well maintained and attractive ship with caring staff.

This interior cabin had a virtual window which I LOVED! you could turn it off or pull the curtains but I loved the sounds of the ocean at night and having a view.

Ship tip

If you are on board with Cuddy as Cruise Director, take the meditation class.

Find the time to go to the Gouverneur and have a drink on the balcony overlooking the swinging old lady and frrry stop. I recommend the frozen lemonade.

Oranjestad, Aruba

If you take ANY kind of off-reading excursion, not ina sealed-up bus, bring a scarf or bandanna for your nose and mouth and eye gear. Beautiful north coast, a blast on the DePalma 4x4 but DUSTY!

Kralendijk, Bonaire

Cannot wait to go back and snorkel everywhere. If kayak is maxed at 350 pounds and the 2 of you exceed that make sure guide knows another kayak is needed. At 450 combined no one was confident but we had no problem navigating and staying upright, but we are experienced kayakers. Just give them a heads up or choose another option for snorkeling.
