Review summary

The food was outstanding & the waiters were just as outstanding.  Our Stateroom Attendant, Kevin Saunders, was the best we have ever had on previous ships. We hope anyone going on the Navigator of the Seas gets lucky enough to have him!  The ship band for all the shows was excellent!  The trumpeter in this band could have put on his own show with his incredible playing.  The Ice Show is not to be missed & the comedians were very funny.  We had beautiful weather everywhere we went & Bonaire had the best water for snorkeling & scuba diving of ANY of the stops.  You could just walk from the ship along the beach & see fish everywhere in the crystal clear water!  The cruise director, Cuddy, WAS SO FUNNY!

Children's Programs

5 out of 5
We had no children with us BUT the areas for them seemed very popular.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Our Stateroom Attendant, Kevin Saunders, was absolutely the best we have ever had on any of our other cruises! Room was cleaned twice a day & he ALWAYS had us an ice bucket full after I asked him on the first day. He always greeted us with a smile each & every single day.

Cabin / Stateroom

Not a lot of room BUT we just used the room for sleeping - too many other things to do. Worth the price.

Ship tip

For the best area to sun or read without a crowd, go to the stern deck area just past Johnny Rockets & below the surf rider. There are restrooms next to the restaurant. If you love to snorkel & scuba then sign up for Bonaire!

Ports of call

Miami, Florida

3 out of 5
Very crowded with traffic so go EARLY to the port & take the port tunnel to get there. You can park in the garage & walk right across the street to the ship. $20 a day to park BUT it turned out to be worth every cent for getting on the ship & OFF THE SHIP at the end of the cruise. No waiting by walking off with our bags, right into the garage, into our car, & OUT OF THERE BEFORE 3,500 MORE CAME OFF!

Labadee (Cruise Line Private Island)

3 out of 5
Very crowded on the beach, so try to get to the beach early before 9 am. Also, go back toward the ship at one of the other less crowded lunch stands that the ship sets up. If you eat at the beach then EAT AS SOON AS IT OPENS to avoid the "zoo"!

Willemstad, Curacao

We took the Caves & City Center tour & we had a tour leader who was born on the island, very informed, & spoke very good English. Helena was very very good! Hope you get her!

Oranjestad, Aruba

For a fun day sign up for the Kukoo Kunuku Palm Beach Tour! Hope you get Carlos!!!! It is an open air bus & Carlos has you laughing, singing, & yelling out the open windows with music playing!!! He will tell you to get the best smoothie with "sugar" (code word for rum). This tour was a blast!!!!

Kralendijk, Bonaire

5 out of 5
The water & fish on this island are tremendous & we also took the Best of Bonaire tour to see the salt fields & flamingos. This is the best for snorkeling & scuba.
