Beware of the weather

the ship, as ever, lovely. Typical RCI standard and good attentive staff. This was spoilt by awful weather. Oslo - rain, Copenhagen, cloudy then rain, Tallin, cloudy then heavy rain, St petersburg, cloudy then heavy rain and wind so much so we had to stay in port a further day, Helsinki for the 3 hours allowed, rain and we missed Bruges. Came home rally fed up, but not RCI's fault. Apparently 30 degress in St Petersburg the day before.

Cruise Photos

Cabin / Stateroom
Lovely spacious suite, aircon was a bit noisy
Embarkation and Disembarkation
Getting on in no time, in cabin by 2pm, We arrived late into Southampton at the end of the cruise, so we chose to carry our luggage off and it was quite a wait.
Ship Quality
Looking a bit worn in places but clean and tidy
Destinations and Excursions
Weather spoilt everything
Onboard Activities
Did not use much but excellent facilities
Headliner shows not the best we have seen
Service and Staff
Wonderful staff, no issues
Food and Dining
Always good, really enjoyed the food.
Southampton (London), England
Use terminal parking if you drive, avoid off site parking.
Oslo, Norway
Take a good brolly. Sculpture park good, use the hop on hop off bus from the cruise terminal to get about and see most. About £25 each
Copenhagen, Denmark
Love this place, bought a shuttle ticket for $20 each then found there was a hop on hop bus for only $5 more. Hell of a queue for the shuttle back, bit of a walk to the little mermaid if you walk from the shuttle, hop on bus takes you to it. Some lovely beers in the main centre.
Tallinn, Estonia
Need to use hop on buses again, best way to see most. There are three routes all leave from the centre but pick you up from terminal
St. Petersburg, Russian Federation
Second day wetter and we did not leave until the following day.
Helsinki, Finland
Could be nice, shuttle bus designed to drop you at the massive marque where they try to tempt you with expensive goods. - avoid. Only had 2 -3 hours. Wet again
Zeebrugge (Bruges), Belgium
Did not get there!!!

Lovely spacious ship and one down from the larger Independance of the Seas. We now prefer the smaller ships. Enjoy the Ice Skating, we alway ate early on my time dining as queues bult up to get into the dining room after 8pm.we then got the 9pm show. The Scooner bar piano sing along was great.
