Review summary
After an avid Carnival cruiser, my daughter and I tried Royal Caribbean Navigator of the Seas for the first time. We had a great time at the ports of call in Cozumel, Mexico, Belize City, Belize, and Roatan, Honduras. The ship was very nicely furnished/decorated and the staff was great. My only negative feedback from Royal Caribbean is that everything seems to be geared towards an older crowd. Most of the activities have a cost affiliated with them unless you stay pool side. The mattresses in the inside stateroom were horribly firm, where you could not get comfortable and egg crates or extra pillows aren't available. The food was ok, similar to Carnival.

Ship tip
After experiencing both ship lines, I feel that Carnival is a better deal than Royal Caribbean but if you have extra money to spend on a la carte activities, then Royal Caribbean might be for you.
