Review summary

It's our first time with Royal Caribbean. The stateroom bathroom was horrible with old stain in the vanity sink and toilet bowl. Coffee mugs were stained and smelled. Windjammer closed at 9 pm. Ice cream was melted. The staffs were not friendly. I've been with Carnival and Norwegian before and was very pleased. I was told that Royal Caribbean is a bit higher than the others but wasn't. Our group vowed not to go to Royal Caribbean anymore. Disembarkment was unorganized. We've been with for all of our cruises, but this last time wasn't pleasant either. We were assigned seat for the dining with other family instead of ours.

The wife and I had a great cruise on Majesty of the Seas this past February. It was our first time bit it was great. Booked on Navigator of the Seas this coming January and can't wait. It's easy to complain about the little things but just think how lucky you are to be able to afford and enjoy a cruise. It's the Caribbean, it's warm and it's a vacation with endless booze, with the drink package! Enjoy it!

sounds like my mom and dad.... they are in their 70's and always critize everything.... most of the time they are too picky...

RCCL has been rated the #1 large cruise line for 10 years. They didn't earn that by being bad.

Unless you book together, you can't expect to dine together. If for some reason you are not at the same table, it can be corrected but not unless you ask. I too have a hard time believing that everything smelled everyday. If that were the case I would have found the head steward and brought them to check it out. Everything is never perfect however you weren't happy with anything.

I would talk to corporate. We've taken 12 Royal cruises and a few other lines and never had your experience. So sorry.

I've been on ten Royal Caribbean Cruises and the next one in 3 weeks ,they have always been accommodating and respond to complaints. Last year the wheels on my daughter's brand new luggage came off and she went to purse desk and told them they reimburse her 50 dollars. When you book either online or with RC on the phone they ask you if you are traveling with someone else in other cabins so they can seat you together if you like and their are so many places to eat and all the food is not bad and for as the room goes did you ask for change? This is what I know for sure if you take your complaints home with you instead of the purser desk you will have a bad experience and if you don't cruise with RC again it will be your loss. I hope what ever cruise line you choose next will be better for you.

Sorry you had a bad experience but RC is usually cool with changing dinner arrangements, you just have to ask. We've been on 2 cruises where one of our group members wasn't at our table and that was because they booked late. But we changed it when we boarded the ship. It does suck that windjammer closes at 9pm.

Wow! Sorry that so much went wrong with your trip on RC. Stick with Carnival and Norwegian since you enjoy them so much. Strange thing, we had an awful experience on Carnival and never went back. Hope your next cruise is awesome.

Sounds like a crock to me. Sorry. I can see someone being unhappy about SOME thing. But not EVERY thing. This person rattled off one thing after another. RC wouldn't be the behemoth they are if all these things were true.

We love RCI ... Tried P&O but we're very disappointed compared to RCI we have never had a problem getting seated together with family for meals and the staff have always been great

All these comments are making me not want to go on mine. I have been on RCCL x2. One was great, the other was OK. The last one service was pretty rude.

Was your family booked in the same stateroom? If not, they have no idea that is your family. They are usually very accommodating when you ask for a specific dining arrangement.
