Review summary

Traveling aboard the Navigator of the Seas was a very pleasant experience.  We have made a number of trips on different ships but this was one of the best yet.  Ship staff very pleasant and friendly at all times.  Food was excellent and plentiful at all times.  The very minor negative comment would be that the ice cream machines on the 11th deck were closed after about 9pm.  Those of us that would like a little ice cream could not find any other than the Ben & Jerry bar on the 5th deck which we had to pay extra for.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Each meal was a great dining experience. Dinner on deck 3 was always an event that we looked forward to each night and we were never disapointed.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
while we just used the card room to play cards, it was a very warm and inviting room on the 7th deck that we much enjoyed.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Went to see the Texas Tenors and their performance was exceptional. You should find other entertainers of that calibre and quality to perform on the ship.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
I cannot begin to express my appreciation to our dining staff for the evening meal. Custodio Rodrigues, Reynaldo and Sunny Russ were always a pleasure to see and never failed to meet our expectations. A thumbs up for these three individuals that need special recognition

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
the ship was very well maintained and facilities worked well. Very clean and inviting.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Cabin was very clean and the room staff were exceptional at keeping everything in order. Two thumbs up for the cabin staff that served us on this cruise.

Ship tip

The other eating areas on the ship were not well defined in the ship documents. For late night snacks, I did not find the information available until I discovered it while walking around.

Ports of call

Galveston, Texas

5 out of 5
Galveston has great dining facilities along the sea wall.

Falmouth, Jamaica

1 out of 5
did not get to visit Falmouth. Not anyone's fault because of the weather.

George Town, Grand Cayman

5 out of 5
good shopping and interesting people to visit with

Cozumel, Mexico

5 out of 5
again, good shopping and interesting people to visit with. It seemed that with the number of ships in the port at the same time, the town was a little overwhelmed with all the visitors.
