Review summary

On Feb. 1 sailing on the Navigator of the Seas out of Galveston a group came aboard called "Grown and Sexy."  This group had 750+ guests  on board.  My question to ask is should a group's fun interfere with a RC guest?  Should my grandchild or any child onboard have to be  witness to adults dressing as naughty school girl for their "Sexy Nerd" event or as pirates and wenches on "Pirate" night or pimp and ho on "Players Ball" night" or have a  Kandishop adult toy party ?  Yes these events start at 10pm but even a scheduled teen event "Movie and a Dip" could not be enjoyed because of the loud partying happening on the deck above where the teen movie was being shown.

Hopefully you will not find yourselves in a stateroom with a balcony that has a "Grown and Sexy" guest next door.  They continued their party after 2:00pm and continued with the loud noise , music, cigarette smoking and yes even marijuana smoking.  Our balcony door was closed but everything noise and smells entered our stateroom.  Contacted security several times even called the 911 to get someone to address the problem.

Security only provided a temporary solution.  Never took the problem under control.

This continued each and every night.  Told no room to move us to,  had to sleep with the TV on, and small pieces of tissue rolled and put into our ears to block out the noise.

Told by corporate  guest relations that  they can not discriminate against any groups, and that adults are responsible for their own behavior.

My husband and I have been on on several RC cruises because of the mid to older adult atmosphere. Let's all hope that whoever is in charge of group bookings will set the standards of  groups expectation much higher so that all can have an enjoyable experience. I also feel that a RC guest should be able  to be told if a large event is being held onboard when  a booking is being made.
