Review summary

* did not provide programs listed in promo materials

* check-in & disembark processes was a nightmare, poorly organized

* shopping on board was limited and extremely expensive

* crowded conditions with 4000 on board plus 1500 boat staff

* food services and selection were surprisingly good

* stateroom staff do not get compensation from company, their only compensation received is from the gratuities paid by those passengers taking the cruise...terrible exploitation for hard working people

* do not be lured in to booking because of special on board promos...everything on board from beverages to special restaurants and custom services is high priced and will quickly consume your on board credits

* beware of communication services provided e.g. wi-fi is VERY SLOW and poor, use of personal cell phones incurs add-on charges and is expensive, TV programs provided in staterooms is poor at best

* information lectures provided by RC is a disappointment and a sales pitch to buy high priced merchandise from Diamonds International

* live music provided on board is loud and not designed for dancing or relaxation

* boat staff are very friendly and work hard to keep ship and staterooms clean and provide pleasant service despite being poorly compensated by company

* Royal Caribbean advertising claims to be the #1 rated cruise line is a misleading and deceptive
