Review summary

It was a good cruise, weather played a role in what we did and where we went, but did not put a damper on our spirits. Fellow passengers we met were nice, friendly and fun. I give thanks and praise to our Captain and his staff for a safe journey.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
It went rather well, there was enough help to guide us through the system.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
I was disappointed with the variety, the flavor and the presentation. I have sailed with Oceania three times before and I feel there is a decline in quality.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
We dined we shopped we saw shows.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
the performers give 100%. I was especially delighted with the Spanish guitarist, Demitri.

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
All the staff works hard, I know that, but compared with past cruises on Oceania I felt a decline in the attentiveness with guests. There was much moving about at meals but not enough attention to guests.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
all areas seemed well maintained.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
I realize personal objects are not moved to dust so I accept that.

Ship tip

The captain did an excellent job in providing us a safe journey to our ports.
