Review summary

Not enough staff, too many 'extras' which required payment. Photo shop ripped us off and we lost 2 photos we'd paid for. First MSC cruise will definitely be my last.

Having to 'activate' cruise cards was a farce, no organisation or explanation. Never had to do this on any other line.

Food was OK. However it was nigh on impossible to get a drink in the buffet due to lack of staff. Using your drinks package was a joke as the queues at the bars you could use were horrendous.

Onboard Activities

Activities were OK but the venues were not big enough for the amount of people who wanted to take part.

Can't fault the Ents staff, they did a great job and redeemed to cruise for us.

Don't, so many let downs on this cruise which are being repeated experiences for someone we know on there on the current cruise months later.

GigCruiser, I might have agreed with you had my brother not had the same experiences on a B2B over Christmas and New Year, 14 nights. Same ship

I see you went on a 3 night cruise with MSC. My son and daughter in law went on one and they had the same problem with getting drinks etc. But 3 nighters are notorious for being booze cruises. I would only do 7 nights plus with MSC at the right price of course. Enjoy your next cruise.

People either love or hate MSC. I’ve had two great Cruises with them in 2022 and I’m looking forward to for 4 in 2023.
