Review summary

There are some inconsistencies of product and services; but they are relatively minor. Your perspective on these things will determine your level of enjoyment. We overlooked the small things, and booked the 4 night extension mid-cruise because we enjoyed the 7 day so much!!

Generally excellent. Seashore and Ipanema excellent food except for the steak. Omlettes awesome! Avoid the buffet crowds and eat in restaurant whenever possible. Stracciatella Gelato was to die for!! Worth the $7 extra every day!! Room service on balcony also perfection! Did not try specialty restaurants.

Pay attention to weather forecast as we had pouring rain halfway thru excursion to Mayan Ruins, Chacchoven. Moderate, not mild, difficulty walking. Very long hike. But mainly on level. However, Very interesting to see and worth the hike! Guide interesting info. Saw 3 pyramids, in process of uncovering them. You can. Climb to top for great views if desired. I recommend this excursion.!

We did not carry off bags...we set them out at night. In morning had breakfast served at fine dining room. Limited menu still had alot of choices. Many servers for instant service. Then we're assigned to wait in Haven Lounge. Waited there, not crowded, just the right amt of people...in half hour our number was called on loud speaker. We walked down one or 2 floors, we had light carry ons, skipped the elevators, and walked quickly to keep up w the others, directly to atrium followed signs, to the right was a final chr l setup and they scanned and kept our sail card. We barely stopped. They rushed u thru and we were walking almost running thru the concourse zigzagging off ship. They went so fast but we could not even see the people in front of us. Absolutely no wait. There was a small grouping of people to check passport, but they had many people to check us, they scanned passport, and we were cleared to walk forward. We followed others walking quickly to the luggage area and found bags on a platform up waist level. We then took one of the porters waiting to help people.. he put bags on cart, he walked us quickly to the correct bus.We tipped porter $5 well spent. bus driver lifted bags on bus, and we immediately jumped on bus. It drove off in less than 5 min. Driver lifted bags off and they would have taken them to car trunk if you needed the help. This was Port Parking Space. $10 a day. We parked there twice. Safe. Excellent disembarkation.
