Everything went very smooth and quick. You had a specific time to be at the port(About an hour window) Very organized!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
The food was good but there was a lot of very unusual foods, I'm from the south so the portions are small. The service was top notch and the waiters were very friendly and attentive to your every need. Gala night was the best, we had filet mignon and lobster tail. The buffet line was always good and very common foods. I was most impressed that they had someone standing at the entrance encouraging you to wash your hands. There were sinks with soap on both sides of the entrance.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
We used the pools, and weight room. The activities we participated in were... Putting competition, Pickle Ball, Corn Hole, Master Chef at Sea, and an outdoor movie.

Entertainment

Top Notch Performances all week long!!! We only missed one, and they were all superb!

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
All the staff were extremely helpful, kind, and at your beck and call.

Ship Quality

Everything was clean. The layout was a little hard to get use to at first, but in my opinion, that is every boat I have ever been on.

Cabin / Stateroom

Best room we have ever had on a cruise ship, we really enjoyed the balcony. We took a stretchy clothes line and it was perfect to hang our wet clothes to dry. They had very nice room darkening curtains on the sliding door, it was pitch black in the room even in the morning hours. The shower is very small, but it is on all boats. You have to put your room key card in a slot when you open the door or your lights will not come on. ( It is a way to conserve energy on the boat) Anytime we used a towel, there were fresh ones when we came back. There was only 2 drawers for clothes, but enough room in the closet to hang up clothes. We took extra hangers. There were 3 nice shelves in the bathroom for all your toiletries, which was very nice. There is only one small corner shelf in the shower, but we took a hang up holder for the shower toiletries. There was a nice hand held shoer head, which made it much easier to rinse off in that very small shower. There was 3 nice hooks on the wall in the main room and 2 hooks in the bathroom. Large mirror with chair and nice lighting to put on makeup.

Ship tip

As for any cruise, read alot of reviews and watch video's of the ship, then you will be more prepared for what is and isn't there on the boat. Every night was casual dining except Gala night. So don't worry so much about being dressy for dinner. If you are a partier and like to stay up late at night, you might want to participate in the dress nights that coincided with the parties. There was an all white night, 60's, 70's, and 80's party, and a sunshine party which was tropical clothing.

Beautiful!!!! Laid in the beautiful water all day! This is owned by MSC and they have made it into a paradise. My husband got off the boat early the second day we were here and walked the whole island, he said it was breathtaking!

Disembarkation

We did the walkoff disembarkation early after breakfast around 8:30 am and it went so smooth. Not much waiting at all.
