Review summary

This was one of our least favored cruises we have been on from the booking experience through the cruise. Very disappointed as we were celebrating our 48th wedding anniversary.

Confusing. Didn't understand what was available. Booked a specialty dining package. Couldn't reserve a time until we were on board. Waited in line for a regular dining and found out we couldn't eat there because we had an "anytime dining". Anytime dining wasn't available at that dining location. All was very confusing. Drink package wasn't included with the specialty dining at the Butchers Cut. Also it didn't include food from their regular menu. They had a special select group of food you could order from. Not worth the extra cost and I couldn't see that it saved us the 10%+ it indicated by buying the package before the cruise.

Ship was clean and well maintained. Challenging to get the specialty restaurants.

Cabin / Stateroom

Card would not work when we went to the cabin. Had to wait in line at customer service to resolve the problem. Balcony was nice and roomy. The cabin space and bathroom was smaller than expected for a suite. We have been on other cruise ships in a balcony room with more space.

Ship tip

App and internet check-in is terrible. We never did get the internet to work which we paid for in advance. I am an IT professional of 20+ years. Very little instructions or details on how to use or access information on the app. Just a bad experience overall.
