I personally prefer a bit smaller ship than Seaside. The food was the only part that was just okay but there were definitely so many other amenities that compensated for it. Drinks, shows, parties, etc. Always something fun to do & ship was in tip-top shape. Beautiful & clean every single day. Staff could have been a bit more attentive. Overall very fun but would probably seek out a more smaller ship by MSC next time.

Food was okay like every other review suggests. Ate at our assigned restaurant, Ipamema once on the last night & it was definitely better than the buffet food. Atlantic salmon & vegetables were my fave. At the buffet the lamb stew & rice was my favorite. Assuming food was mostly bland to accommodate all passengers aboard & be considerate? Like people with hypertension maybe? But nothing a little salt or pepper didn’t fix! Drinks were awesome—although most bars took quite awhile to serve us. But there was always the option to find another less crowded one close by, usually inside the ship.

The daily itineraries were filled with things to do, so much so it was overwhelming & we obviously didn’t get a chance to do it all. But from the look of it, the entertainment selection was superb.

Compared to smaller ships (our last was Norwegian Sky) the service and staff could have been a bit more friendly. By the 2nd day on the Sky the bar attendants had knew my name but on Seaside the ship was so freaking huge they definitely weren’t as personable. Our room was always clean though & they catered to our needs when asked.
