MSC Seaside is a beautiful ship with wonderful theater shows. It does have a different "vibe" from Royal Caribbean, NCL and Carnival. I am used to having a variety of daytime activities and at least one pool area with music/entertainment. This was not the case on the Seaside. The ship does have a lot of outdoor areas which is a plus. Food in the buffet was basically the same each day but did taste good. The main dining room is fine but service was very rushed. The servers appeared inpatient. Did not try the specialty restaurants because they were so pricey compared to the other cruise lines I've sailed. I usually will dine in 1-2 of the specialty restaurants. They were constantly trying to sell the dining packages. Overall I enjoyed myself...after all I was on vacation. I may consider sailing with MSC again, however would not be my first, second or third choice.

The theater shows were amazing. A different show each night and all were excellent. The musicians were fine.
