MSC is a very luxurious and professional CruiseLine that offers a lot of diversity in its food options as well as activities, music, etc for all guests. I think it’s by far the best CruiseLine because of this. There is always something fun to do, watch, and/or enjoy for everyone at all times.
Embarkation

We arrived at the port at 11:30am and were on the ship within 10-15 min. There was no wait time.

Food and Dining
1 out of 5
We didn’t eat at any specialty restaurant because the food in the main dining rooms were excellent! The servers were extremely nice and friendly. My nephew kept falling asleep right around dinner time each night and the staff helped set up some chairs together for us to lay him down and even got him something to cover him with. They also made sure to get his food out first in case he didn’t stay awake the entire time. The staff was very attentive and very accommodating. The food was fantastic! We had different meal options each night but there was a part of the menu in which there were a few options available each night as well. The buffets were great too. There are two different buffets on the cruise so it helps keep them less crowded. The food at the buffets were very delicious as well! There was a day in which they had hundreds of cakes and pies in the buffets. There’s also soft serve ice cream. The buffets were kept very clean and both had several bars to order drinks.
The Biscayne Bay Buffet & Pizzeria

Great food and since there are two buffet restaurants on the cruise, lines are not as crowded. Chairs and tables as well as entire restaurant is kept very clean.
Venchi 1878 Chocolate Bar and Venchi 1878 Gelato & Creperie
5 out of 5
This is a ve de beautiful area in the ship with excellent gelato and chocolates as well as coffee and hot chocolate options. We enjoyed this area very much because it’s where most shopping areas and stores are and there was always live music. It was very nice and relaxing!
Seashore Restaurant

Excellent and beautiful dining room! Very nicely decorated and very comfortable seating areas for large and small parties. The food was very delicious and diverse. The staff and servers were very friendly and kind! Overall a great dining experience!
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
There are several pools, slides, hot tubs, and a kids water park on board. All of which were very fun! There were also table tennis, foosball tables, etc. There’s also zip line, bowling, an arcade room, bowling, 4D movie, etc but there are charges to utilize them but they were fun!
MSC Aurea Spa

The lines were managed very well since there were guest services on both sides of the ship and the staff was very helpful and kind.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
The stage shows were AMAZING!!!! These were the BEST shows I’d ever seen. Each night got better and better with live singing, great dancing, and so much more unexpected things!!! There was great live music on board each night at just about all lounges. The ship has a lot of people with great talent! There’s also a beer-prov comedy show (one for the whole family and at night for adults only). We only went to the one for the family and it was hilarious and very fun! The programs on this ship are really great and entertaining!
Children's Programs
I don’t have any children and my nephew didn’t go to any of the kids programs.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
The room steward was very timely. We only saw him a couple of times but he was very nice. The ship personnel and waiters were all very kind, helpful, and friendly.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
The ship was gorgeous! We enjoyed the kids jungle pool area most of the time. We also had a private sun deck area with our package, which was PERFECT!! The lounges were all decorated beautifully and every area of the ship was picture and video-worthy. The ship is kept clean always. At each port, the ship is painted and balconies cleaned, etc. Overall a very clean and well maintained ship.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
The stateroom was very roomy and kept very clean. The bathroom and shower were just slightly smaller than other cruises.
Ship tip
I love MSC. It’s my favorite CruiseLine after getting on others such as Norwegian and Carnival. My only advice is to prepare to spend extra on activities such as the arcade, zip lining, bowling, 4D movies, and others such as alcohol and specialty restaurants if packages aren’t purchased by first or second day of the cruise.
