Review summary

Definitely expect for what you pay for. Yes, passengers are from all over the world and some are rude. The ship does smell at times. It smells like sewer and grey water way to much. Will definitely stick with Norwegian and Carnival.

Embarkation

2 out of 5
Embarkation was okay compared to other cruise lines. They only have about 4 lines for security screening which kept the lines from moving through security. There’s 5000 people getting on the ship so 4 lines isn’t efficient. After security, we waited for about 20-30min before we boarded.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Food in the buffet was really good. Pizza and pasta were really good. Hot dogs and hamburgers were excellent surprisingly for being a European ship. The food in the MDR was good. Some nights the menu was bare and nothing really appealed to anyone in my party. Luckily they have classic favorites every night with pasta and chicken.

Onboard Activities

1 out of 5
There wasn’t a lot of things to do on this ship other than sit by the pool. There was no music, very little activities by the pool. There was minimal activities to do at night for younger people. This ship is definitely more laid back compared to other lines.

Entertainment

1 out of 5
Entertainment was okay. There was very few things to do after each show in the theater. The shows were okay (they got better as the week went on). The cruise staff was almost non existent. Usually the cruise director and the cruise staff are the faces of the ship all week. Not on this cruise. We rarely saw the cruise staff hosting activities and events poolside and around the ship. Didn’t see the cruise director at all.

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
Staff is very friendly and outgoing for their guests. We never had a problem with any crew member. The service in the MDR was fast and efficient compared to other lines.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
Ship is very massive and beautiful on the inside. It never felt overly crowded (with the exception of the elevators like any other cruise). Ship had a good flow from bow to stern. A lot more pools are offered on the Seaside which helps with the crowds. The south beach pool on deck 7 aft is a good chill spot for relaxation. Ship does have a smell that smells like sewer in certain areas and it’s such a turn off.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Cabin was always cleaned and the interior room was a little bigger than other ships. The bathroom is a lot smaller and there isn’t a lot of storage in the cabin.

Ship tip

The foreigners are very rude. Be prepared for people not from the US cutting buffers lines, walking in the elevator when you’re trying to walk out, dirty looks, and rude remarks.

Ports of call

Ocho Rios, Jamaica

Had a great time at Margaritaville. Walking distance from the ship and only 10 dollars to get on the beach. The resort had a pool, bar, water slide, and trampolines in the ocean.

Cozumel, Mexico

Went shopping. Always nice here.

George Town, Grand Cayman

Went to paradise beach. Very crowded. Taking the tender boat is a pain and very unorganized.

Nassau, Bahamas

5 out of 5
Went to cabbage beach (public beach). Went jet skiing with 2 people for only 50 bucks for 30 min (not bad at all compared to an excursion). Beach was beautiful.

Miami, Florida

4 out of 5
Walked Miami Beach strip the night before. Beautiful.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Fastest disembarkation ever
